After travelling back from Colorado on Sunday, 104, I was excited to watch the NASCAR Talladega race, which I TiVO’d, on Monday evening. To my EXTREME dismay, the final 2 laps of the race was switched to NBCSN due to a schedule conflict. Of course, the TiVO recording does not recognize the switch in broadcast channels. Thanks to that NBC decision, I missed the most important and entertaining final 2 laps of the event.
If you can't consistently broadcast a live event like a professional corporation, discontinue broadcasting such and give up your rights to the package. This is not the first time this has occurred. Because you knew you had Sunday Night Football coming up, which is important to NBC, you should have broadcast the race entirely on NBCSN. Apparently the race was important enough to broadcast initially on NBC, but not the final 2 penultimate laps. How can that be?
