My complaint:

Why is this wonderful soap opera going to Peacock? I don’t understand. I’ve been watching for 40 years. Why all of a sudden it’s going off NBC and going to Peacock. Lots of us don’t have Peacock!!! Why should I have to pay to watch my favorite soap? I just don’t understand!!!

Suggested solution:

Please keep DOOL on NBC!!! We’d all be so happy. Read all the comments on Facebook. No one is happy with this decision!!! Who made this decision? Please, please!!!

All they care about is money! I will not pay to watch after 40 years! The show has gotten boring anyway so I don’t feel I’m going to be missing anything!

I am very upset about Days of Our Lives. I will turn 73 in a few days and I have watched since the beginning. I have been a very loyal fan, I have stuck with you through some really crazy story lines . I am more than upset about the show moving to Peacock, I don’t want to pay to watch Days of Our Lives. You killed off Abigail and now someone else will die. I guess this is the end for Days.

This has to be a money thing. Everybody wants more although most are living with much less. Some people are living paycheck to paycheck. Most of you’re watcher’s only have soap operas to entertain them while children sleep and clothes are being folded. I think it’s a shame to ask us to pay for a show we’ve watched most of our lives. I know you don’t care about viewers and this message will probably be thrown away like your garbage. Sad to think we mean so little to you but you mean so much to us. Won’t be able to… Read more »

SENIOR LADY

Me too, I have watched for 40 years. I am 83 years young and LOVE DAYS. Isn’t there enough hardship in life today that when a person enjoys a show, truly, as many, many of us do. you want us to pay. Disgusting. Guess you don’t care-that is obvious. Guess I will have to switch over to General Hospital.

I wish Mark Lazarus, Chairman at NBC Universal Television and Streaming realizes his BIG MISTAKE! Adding yet another news program in the slot of Days of Our Lives! NBC will lose viewers left and right. Why not keep Days of Our Lives as it was and stream it too? This way everyone is happy. As I have read, many viewers do not have the means to pay extra and/or they live in rural America and do not have the option of programing as in the city. Internet in rural America IS NOT LIKE THE CITY! Mark, you would not make… Read more »

Mark Lazarus, Chairman at NBC Universal Television and Streaming should step down! Most of us already pay for cable to watch programs and now with this streaming crap they want us to pay again. It seems NBC is holding Days of Our Lives hostage to the viewers and making a blackmail demand for us to stream Peacock! They receive top dollar from their advertisers for all the commercials. Isn’t that enough money in your pocket? As for myself and many others I know, we will never stream Peacock and NBC is off my list for network programming. There are far… Read more »

By moving Days of our Lives (mostly watched by Seniors) to Peacock (which is mostly Millennials) NBC is giving their Senior viewers the middle finger and saying we just don’t care. What’s amusing about this scenario is that the Seniors are the ones that have the disposable income to actually buy the products from NBC’s advertisers. It would make perfect sense to me that NBC could run Days in their overnight programming (a day behind if necessary). Most Seniors have DVR’s and could record. Everyone would be happy.

I also have watched Days since I’ve been a teenager. I am now 70. Why would you do this to us? The actors make enough money but you want us to pay for watching it now??? Not right. Take the money you need from their wallets.. not us. you can put it on regular Peacock which is free but no. you have to do it on premium and charge us. this is BULL. put it back or put it for free.

I have watched since I was very little, I am 55 now. It was free on Peacock until recently. Why should we have to pay for a show that has been free for over 40 years???!!!???🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Sooner or later all tv will go to a pay system except for news, just like it did when cable & satellite came into play. I can’t believe that the FCC will allow this to happen. Hollywood actors will soon find that they no longer have supporters when they start charging for every little thing. Now they charge per service, next it will be… Read more »

What a stupid idea. It looks like all NBC is worried about is money. I already have a device, it’s called a TV. Since I’m rural, I already pay for a streaming service, it’s called direct tv. I don’t have a smart phone or tablet, so guess I’m done with Days until NBC decides to bring it back so the rest of us can watch. I have watched for over 50 years and this is how they thank us.

I am not happy with Days of our Lives being moved to Peacock. Have been a faithful watcher for over 40 years. Not into streaming tv. Not fair for us older customers

I started watching Days of Our Lives with my mom when I was young. She’s passed on now and I’ve watched it for all of these years, crazy story lines and all. For one, I don’t have enough internet/WI-FI where I live to stream much and it doesn’t sound like that’s going to change anytime soon. Even if it did I wouldn’t pay for TV. But I don’t even have that choice at this time! So here I am at noon and it’s just not here. That’s pretty sad. You’ve lost a loyal fan.

I have been watching DOOL since 1974. The devil story line(s) were awful, but the current wokey, homosexual, threesomes, etc, are disgusting. Who the hell is writing this stuff and who the hell is allowing it to be shown? Trying to brain wash people or de-sensitise them is disgraceful.

Please put Days of our Lives back on nbc so not fair that I now have to pay additional monthly money to watch this series I’ve been watching days of our lives over 50 years and how I look at it is we pay for cable tv and we shouldn’t have to pay extra to watch this soap opera

Also I am paying monthly for peacock plus and I can only view Days of our Lives on my iPad because peacock plus makes it so difficult to view on my tv sets it is ridiculous and I’ve called the cable company and complained to them and they have stated because peacock plus is an internet channel they can not assist adding it to our tv sets well I think that’s terrible utube is also an internet channel and I can simply watch that makes no sense
