My complaint:
Let me begin by stating that I am an immigrant. I came to this country which I love in 1979.A few years ago I cut the cable cord and subscribed to Sling TV for one reason only. I wanted to continue watching MSNBC. Increasingly, commercials in total spanish..no english are being broadcast on the programs I enjoy watching. I am watching Rachel Maddow etc on an english language feed. It really irritates me to have to listen to these spanish ads….and you may ask why.
Because, language is such an important part of the fabric of our society. When one thinks of how many spanish speaking stations that are broadcast here in Az …it is so perplexing trying to understand why these all spanish ads are being broadcast.at all. I am a screaming liberal and damn proud of it…however in Az we have a huge Republican population and trust me…they are going to make mincemeat out of this situation. They will politicize.this situation no end.
Suggested solution:
By immediately ceasing to broadcast these spanish speaking ads on english programs.
