My complaint:
No one respects Ms. Mitchell’s body of work more than I. Her show this morning, however, was the end. She is seriously harming John Fetterman with her criticism of his debate with Dr. Oz last evening. She is difficult to watch these days with her halting speech and searching her mind for words. She needs to retire.
Suggested solution:
Replace her.
But isn’t that what a journalist is suppose to do? To be impartial and just ask questions regardless of personal feelings or agenda?
Anrea Mitchell has a long and storied career as a reporter in the field and has always been very compelling and informative in that role, however, as an anchor it seems like she has never found her footing, her live show is a little difficult to watch especially when she is at a loss for words, she is not a very good extemporaneous communicator. Totally agree. The only time I switch to CNN is during Andrea Mitchell’s noon news report. I am not an ageist (I’m over 80 years myself). Her reporting is painful to watch.
Ms. Mitchell is very difficult and frustrating to listen to. She sounds like she is rambling and falling asleep. It might be time to replace her. Thank you.
