My complaint:
I was working on a Lovells site in Newport, Wales via my agency as a agency telehandler driver and I was informed I would be on this site for the long term.
I worked on there for 2 days and after on my way home on my second day (Tuesday), I recieved a call from the agency saying that it was my last day. So when I got home I spoke further to my agency and the gentleman who I usually speak with informed me he spoke with Lovells and they informed him that they had replaced me with another driver from sphere who has 10 years experience.
I am very angry that I have been effectively stabbed in the back. I did not recieve any advanced notice and I will never understand how what they done to me is all legal as I can’t even take any action for unfair dismissal
Suggested solution:
Lovells should be force to explain to me and the agency that finds me work about replacing me with another driver and why I was not given advanced noticed and also an apology for the manor in which they have done this.
