My complaint:

We took our Jeep Renegade to Napleton in Kissimmee, FL in December. We had new tires and new brakes installed for 2,000.00. Then she told me that there was a recall for the engine in my car. She said to drive in 500 miles bring, it back and they would test the oil level. I did, I took it back in January and she said it was using to much oil and I would be getting a new engine. They would need to order it, then I would get a loaner while it was being worked on. This was January 18th.

I called back in 2 weeks and asked when I should bring my car in, as she had asked me to do. She texted me back and said she had made a mistake. My car still needed an engine but, it was now my responsibility. She had made a mistake with my Jeep and several others. So, for 6 weeks we were told the company was paying for it, Then she didn’t call she texted. I went in to see the Service manager he said she was confused and made a mistake. We would never have had 2,000 worth of brakes and tires put on a car that we are now afraid to drive except around town. How does one make that kind of mistake?? We feel that to many Jeeps needed new engines and now it is our fault, also because our warranty is out of date and Jeep would be responsible. This is on Napleton, not us. We did everything they told us to do.

Suggested solution:

They either need to put a new engine in our car, since they admit it is faulty. Or pay us back the 2,000.00, for the tires and brakes we would not have had installed. Since we would have either traded cars, or definitely not spent the money on a car that can\\\'t be driven for long distances with only 65,000. This mistake was Napleton\\\'s not ours!!!!!
