My complaint:
My Instagram account has been locked, and I am unable to regain access due to issues with two-factor authentication. I lost access to my backup codes, and my authenticator app is not working. The selfie verification did also not work since I hadn’t posted myself on the account
I have tried official recovery steps multiple times but have reached a dead end. This account contains years of personal data, and I urgently need help recovering it.
I kindly request Meta/Instagram to provide an alternative verification method, such as ing via my registered email or phone number.
Suggested solution:
I want Meta/Instagram to help me regain access to my locked Instagram account. Since I no longer have my backup codes and my authenticator app is not working, and selfie verification failed, I request an alternative identity verification method.
This could be done by:
• Confirming my identity through my registered email address (faaiz851@gmail.com),
• Confirming via my linked phone number, or
• Accepting valid identity documents from me to prove ownership.
I am not asking for special treatment, just a fair chance to recover my account through another secure method.
