My complaint:
I play on an online game that has a community chat as well as alliance chat and private messaging in game.
I have been suffering verbal abuse (goat humper, rump ranger etc) which doesn’t usually bother me so i go along with it, sometimes i will self mock to show they cannot get to me, however some comments i have made in jest and used words along the phrasing of ye, if he steals my cookies i’ll just kick his azz and i got community chat bans, as i didn’t know what for i ignored them.
Another player however told me to send in a ticket and ask why i was banned and they lifted the ban, only for me to be banned again from community chat without saying a word, that is when another player said i was permanently banned and laughed in the community chat, to which i tried to respond and ask him what he meant, which is where i found out i did in fact have another ban in place.
I have since contacted customer support asking how he could possibly know i was banned from community chat before i did, that is when i found out several other players had also suffered the same consequence.
i brought this to the attention of Hunted cow studios ltd after i found out one of the customer support staff was a friend of one of the players and named her in a ticket, to which the person i complained about saw the ticket and merged it with other tickets which had nothing to do with the issue.
i then tried to get hold of the admin to explain the support staff could not participate in the ticket i had sent in naming her as a suspect in a breach of the data protection act and i was blocked from hunted cow discord.
i have tried every which way to bring this to their attention and it has been getting ignored or simply brushed under the rug, where i got a final response that the matter was deemed closed by them
Suggested solution:
At the very least they should have responded to me via email assuring me they would look into it and promise to nullify any chat bans in game as well as in discord.
