My complaint:
I have had 2x sets of trade settle weeks ago on both my ISA and Fund and Share Account.
Their platform screwed up with technical errors showing:
-250,000 Shares in Ticker TYM in ISA
-3,000,000 Shares in Ticker TYM in Fund and Share Account
At the time the share price on bid was 0.15p
My account had £4500 missing off the back of the ghost transactions in the Fund and Share Account
My ISA now shows a -£187.71 position and for over a full week locked out of accessing this in the ISA.
The £4500 has all in effect disappeared and not returned.
I have called in excess of three times, over 1.5 weeks, filed two formal complaints and the Call Handlers said they are looking into this. I have requested the back office immediately address this as high priority and allow me to have unfettered access to my money. One of the Agents said we cant verify if it is your money until I quickly ed this ill informed Agent to look at the screen saying look at the negative cash position in ISA as proof. I said you cant see the £4500 in the Fund and Share Account as the account is in substantial cash position but certainly is missing my £4500 post trade settlement of TYM.
I am at a total loss and seeking compensation of 10% of the monies owed for each working day for the matter not being resolved. It is as if they dont seem to be taking it seriously to grant me access to my money. A Bank would not be allowed to behave this way and this company is getting away with such bad practices. I have lost confidence in HL UK.
Suggested solution:
Immediate resolution and return of my money that shows as a minus value in ISA and disappeared £4500 in my Fund and Share Account.
