My complaint:

Hello, I am a loyal regular customer of Hannaford. i have been all my life. I keep noticing how friendly employees are at your store. No smiles no thank-yous no welcome to Hannaford’s either. I find this true with management too. It was common in the past to smile and know your customers by name. I have seen management in your store never say hello or smile at me or anyone. Times are stressful and shopping can be nerve-racking. Arrows and masks and very confusing lines at the register as to who is in line and where the line ends. There is no room for your customers at the checkout lines. People think they are in line only to find out the line is down the aisle you didn’t see. I was in line today October 11 around 4 pm. I was in line for quite some time. After I became the next in line a young man put the lane closed sign and walks away. I am usually very patient and polite. I moved to the end of another line. I can’t tell you how angry this made me. Like I didn’t matter or I was invisible or he just didn’t care. People are feeling very down and sad with all that’s going on. To come into your store and spend a lot of money and feel worse than you did when you come out. I called your store and spoke with I guess a manager. I felt like he couldn’t wait for me to shut up and stop wasting his time. Sorry I had to vent.
