My complaint:
I got injured at my job 72119 I’ve been receiving 708 checks every week for 2years my case was settled and I got 114000 Deposited on to a green dot card they offer a check but me beening behind on bills than covid I needed my money now so they suggested to put it on the card so I get this money wired on this card worst mistake ever I wasn’t able to get it wired to a real bank like Wells Fargo I couldn’t take off the card at well fargo that’s when I found out about the limit the green dots has where you only can take out 3000 grand a month so a buddy of minds the work at Walmart explains to me you can take out 3000 grand a day so I went with that option and hit 3 different Walmarts a day so basically 9000 grand a day just to get my money off that was stressful loging kids around Walmart to Walmart than green dot put my card on spend down basically closing my account blocking me for the app so I couldn’t get in to lock my card or redeem my cash back reward that I earned and that about 800 dollars so now my account close and I have money on this card that I wouldn’t off so I’m buying stuff and 1 day I decided to go to sonic in some guy stole my info off the back of the card and made 5 Transactions total 700 dollars I couldn’t lock my card cause I was blocked out the app I didn’t wanna file a Fraud case cause ain’t no telling what green dot would have done with my account already on spend down so I just let them took from me cause I was still in the process of moving money with green dot controlling people money you would think they would have call me in ask questions but they didn’t in just blocked cause I was taking my money off the card not because I was doing anything wrong just because I was at Walmart taking my money off I think that with the company that handles people money should be more precise when it come to documentation cause they would have known that this lump sum came from the insurance company that been sending him checks for 2 years in now I can’t get a card with green dot ever because of this situation not that would again but they said like I’m a criminal
Suggested solution:
I feel the company green dot should give the cash back I earned and more for the inconvenience I have kids can u imagine not being able to get your money you work for
