My complaint:
Unable to access my card balance or log in to my account.
I spent over an hour trying to log in to my account without ever being able to resolve why it wouldn’t let me log in. Called customer service and hit nothing resolved there either. They couldn’t tell me what my balance was either.
All I got was a total run around and in the end I still haven’t gotten my balance on my green Dot card and even when I use my mobile txt to ask for my balance, all I got was the message not sent . Just like im blocked on their end.
I want my balance.
Suggested solution:
As I was searching around trying to find the solution to the problem I was having with green Dot, I discovered that this was a problem for alot of green Dot card holders. Especially those of us who bought our cards from Walmart.
Green Dot posted an apology for the inconveinece and stated that they would gives the customers effected by the systems breakdown a reimbursement ,bonus, or whatever for our trouble.
I have certainly gone threw that for sure. Right now I can't say I have that much confidence in this company at all.
It almost sounds like one of those companies on American Greed ?????
I want to be compensated for my trouble as well. Why would a company block out their card holding customers????? That doesn't look good. I'm wondering if my money is still there?????
