My complaint:

I used a friends phone to order a lyft to get us home because my phone had died. I entered my card info myself on my lyft account but she ended up saving my card info to her phone. I noticed several charges being made to my account to bravo tip or pay totaling over $1000 in the last 2 weeks. I tried calling green dot to cancel my card but every time i would call it would tell me we are unable to help you at this time. It wouldn’t even let me go thru a list of options it literally hung up on me within 10 seconds of the call. I tried live chatting but kept getting a message telling me to call in. So i have been unable to get a hold of any kind of customer service rep until today almost 2 weeks later and only got thru because i called from my google voice number. I even requested to receive text message notifications to let me know when any purchase over $1 was made so i could monitor what charges were being made, because i had over $18,000 within the last month in my greendot account. The transactions do not have my name tied to the account used, so like i told the rep today im unsure how they continued to be approved. Green dot denied my dispute not even 12 hours after i called it in. I need to speak with somebody asap please.
