French Embassy London complaint: Passport held with French consulate

My complaint:

My passport has been with France consulate for Schengen visa application processing since Aug 12th 2023. I am currently working in the UK on a Skilled Worker visa. Having changed employer last week, I have to urgently apply for work visa sponsorship change and urgently need my passport for that. Failure of doing so will lead to loosing my new job, my 7 years of stay in the UK and possibly getting deported from UK and not being allowed again.

I’ve been writing and contacting France consulate in London and spoken to their outsourced partner TLS few times since last week, but have not had any luck. I personally went to France consulate yesterday to withdraw my application and get my passport back. However, I was asked to leave and they denied access to my own passport. The consulate is not bothered to respond to my urgent SOS email as per their defined process asking for my passport return.

I’m now living on a knife’s edge and every day feel extremely difficult. I’ve found the France consulate, their partner TLS extremely unhelpful, racist, and patronizing of the top order.
I am helpless, clueless, and denied for all my human rights to have access to my own passport which seems to be forcefully held with the France consulate. No one is bothered to understand the gravity of the situation and be empathetic to the point that if my work visa sponsorship is not changed soon I’ll be deported from UK and never be able to get back!!!

Suggested solution:

I need my passport back from the France consulate with or without the visa ASAP!
