My complaint:
The uncooked puff pastry had sunk to the bottom of the pie when we opened the tin. So much much for quality control. No pie should leave the factory in that state. I don’t expect to see much meat in section.
Suggested solution:
Send me another pie in perfect condition and please please put some meat in it enough for at least two people if possible. In the good old days this pie would feed a family four people.
Fray Bentos pies have not been worth buying for many years. Don’t waste your time complaining to Baxters (the brand owners) because they don’t give a toss. A company that listens to consumers needs to take over the brand and do the necessary to produce the sort of quality Fray Bentos pies people were once guaranteed.
