My complaint:
I purchased a Fray Bentos Steak Pie and after cooking it, I cut through the pastry and where was the meat? It looks nothing like the picture on their tin, just full of hot air with a little gravy.
Baxters took over Fray Bentos and I am a little surprised that a well known established company such as this, produces such poor pies.
They are nothing like I can remember them from years ago.
I’m not so sure I will ever buy another one, as judging by other people’s comments, it would seem that my pie is not just a one off.
Its disgraceful and shameful, producing such rubbish.
Suggested solution:
I really do not know, I shall leave that decision to Baxter's, but being a family run firm, I do hope they are reasonable about my complaint.
What the hell is happening to Fray Bentos Pies? They are nothing like they used to be years ago. Baxters, a well known family run company took over Fray Bentos. I am shocked that a reputable company such as this can get away with producing such rubbish..
