My complaint:
I bought some Fray Bentos Steak and Gravy pies on 15th October 2022 from our local Asda and we ate one of them last night. Really disappointed at the lack of meat in the pie – no meat at all in fact – just gravy. The picture on the tin shows a pie with the crust pushed up by chunks of meat but in fact the pastry just sits on gravy. We have been eating Fray Bentos meat pies since we were children – I am 69 and my husband is 74 so quite some time now. We regard Fray Bentos meat pies as comfort food but sadly no longer – what a disappointment!
