My complaint:
I own a 2015 Ford F-250. It only has 50 thousand miles on it and it’s in pristine condition. A few weeks ago I took my three children to Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. When we arrived people were telling me my Truck was smoking, All of sudden diesel fuel was going everywhere, it was coming down the sides of my fenders on the hood, on the windshield, EVERYWHERE.
There was a oil changing shop near by so I drove it there thinking it may be a hose, when I got there I opened the hood and diesel fuel was everywhere, my Truck could’ve caught on FIRE!!! The guys looked at it and said it was a crack in the engine, I came back ruined my trip to Knotts and paid $250.00 to tow it to the dealership. Monday morning they called that Diesel Fuel was everywhere and that I had to pay to tow it to another Ford Truck place a few miles away.
I waited for a few days and the mechanic called and said they found the problem and after 23 years at Ford he said he never saw this before, the FACTORY fuel Filter cracked and didn’t leak fuel on the bottoms, it threw it everywhere inside and out of the front end of the truck. He fixed the problem it cost me over $700.00 for something I had NOTHING to do with. I brought it home and I smelled Diesel Fuel inside and outside the Truck, it’s basically destroyed!!!
After five car washes, personal scrubbing, cleaning every hing inside and out, under the hood, every crack, diesel fuel is still coming down all the under lining and inside the fenders, places no one could get to. It still smells of diesel fumes, inside and out, I called Ford to file a complaint and after everything I told them how my Truck is ruined by their factory defective part, they sent the dealership the complaint but said I didn’t want Ford to do anything which is NOT TRUE and how they can’t do anything unless Ford ask them to help me.
I’m very frustrated, I had NOTHING to do with this, I paid hundreds of dollars and it’s still not the same Truck and they refuse to do anything about it. Please help if you can.
Thanks!

Here’s what SouthBay Ford just wrote me:
Mr. Setka,
I also reviewed the case you opened with Ford and it doesn’t show that you had asked for help. Without asking for help they will never give it.

Suggested solution:
They should pay for the Towing expense I was force to pay on a factory faulty part. I shouldn't have to pay for it to be installed and they shouldn't have given me the Truck back knowing all the damage the diesel fuel did to my Truck. I spent days trying to clean it with no success, I still smell the Diesel Fumes inside and out after all the cleaning I did. The Fuel went into places I could never clean unless the entire front end was taken apart.
They should pay to have it professionally completed as it was their faulty part and it had nothing to do with me, or wear and tear.
Thanks!
