My complaint:

To whom it may concern
I purchased coffee beans that had cinnamon in it this past Wednesday by error without realizing this until I looked at it at home. I shop in Cornwall regularly and normally spend over $200 a month.
I went into the store this afternoon with the coffee but unfortunately did not keep my receipt. The coffee was cold from being in the car so I obviously had not stolen it from the store. The manager refused to exchange the item because I did not have my receipt. I find this very demeaning and the allegation is that we stole the merchandise and I can’t believe I cannot exchange this item for something I will be able to use.
This is not acceptable and I am very disappointed in the treatment I received,
All I want is to exchange the coffee for one that I can drink
Please let me know this is not a province wide Food Basics policy
