My complaint:
management asked my son to leave the store because of customer complaints, He is an adult with a mental disability, I defended my son and told the manager he is mentally disabled and that it was the customers’ problem. Store personnel should be more empathic and tolerant for people who have a mental illness. The manager should have asked if he was with someone in the store, instead of assuming he is a troublemaker and telling him to leave. I should have left the things I bought and walked out of that store. I highly doubt I will be shopping at that dollar tree in the future. Next time I’ll go to Shawnee or Oklahoma City.
Suggested solution:
employee training on how to treat people, especially if someone is mental disabled. Not all handicaps are physical.
