My complaint:

I was having issues with my Verizon bundle which included Disney Hulu and ESPN. Somehow my account was deactivated. I spent two hours with Verizon, who was able to cancel my account and help me re-subscribe. After being re-directed to Disney’s site, I was not able to setup a new account. Verizon stated I needed to deal directly with Disney at this point.

I spent over an hour on the phone with Cale at Disney. We worked through several troubleshooting options. Then he said he was able to get the account to work. I was logged in and was able to use the Disney services. However, after disconnecting the call and giving him five stars on the survey, I noticed the account had no name and was setup as a complimentary account for one month of premium service. The bundle was not activated. After one month the account would be deactivated. Cale did this knowing very well it was not a solution to my problem. Cale did this to get a five star review and that’s it. Now I’m having to start all over, where Disney representatives are unable to help. I’ve been conned. Never again.

Now I’m cancelling my account with Verizon after 20 years because they refuse to honor their bundle agreement. All phone conversations and chats have been recorded and transcribed. Pretty pathetic.

Suggested solution:

Upgrade me to Disney Trio Premium until I decide to cancel the account. My time and frustration for being lied to is worth something.
