My complaint:
Hello,
I do not know if this is the correct place to voice this concern, but here it goes. I am watching the Science channels “how’s it made”, Sunday 11721 at @340Pm, with my family. In particular my 7 year old son, and his slightly older brothers. I figure the science channel is a family station, and discovery channel should be as well. We are watching tv when a commercial for a Discovery TV show comes on and the first this I hear is “Do you want to have a threesome?” and then other sexually explicit items comes across after that.
I then hear my 7 year old, Dad, What’s a threesome? Why is this crap on a family station in the middle of Sunday afternoon? Do you really feel that that is appropriate to have in the middle of the day on a commercial break on How’s it made?
I understand it is 2021 and things are different, but really, on “how’s it made” on the science channel? I am disappointed in someone’s choices.
Anyway, for what’s it worth, I guess I can’t let my kids watch the science channel anymore.
Sincerely,
James Handy
Suggested solution:
dont advertise using sexual content during a kids show.
