My complaint:
I recently purchased a double bagger for my mower. At first, the tube was working properly to feed the grass into the baggers. However, as I continued mowing, the grass consistently got stuck in the beginning of the tube, and I had to stop every minute or so to manually remove the grass from the tube – defeating the purpose of the bagging system. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the tube multiple times, but this issue persisted.
Because the bagger was not performing the way it was supposed to, I decided to return it – only to find that their return policy is 14 days for UNUSED products. I made three separate phone calls, on hold for over an hour and a half total, to try and return my bagger because it was not performing correctly. They told me that since I had used it, I could not return it. This is a ridiculous return policy for customers who receive faulty products, because they are then stuck with an unusable product that they paid hundreds of dollars for.
I will not be purchasing anything from Cub Cadet again unless this issue is addressed.
Suggested solution:
Initiate a return for the faulty equipment I purchased.
