My complaint:
I went to the store in tarbock green, Huyton L351RA approximately 12:45pm on Monday 9th September and was appalled by a staff members professionalism. (She was a mature lady with short hair, we didn’t catch her name) the lady was sat on her break on the table where customers eat when a man approached the counter wanting to be served. She rudely told him she was on her break and it wasn’t open, he then asked calmly if anyone else was serving to which she replied no, he asked her when she would be finished on her break to which she grumbled she’d go and serve him, rolling her eyes. Me and my friend were also ready to be served so we went to que behind the man. He asked for a fresh roll as there was plenty of them to be served but she again rudely spoke to him saying he can’t have a fresh one, it’s only the batches in the boxes below counter. He said the week previously the lady gave him a fresh one but she again refused saying that’s the rules in a poor manor. Understandably, the man refused to go ahead with the sale as she was that rude he walked out. The man actually complained on Google reviews the same day to no surprise! The lady explained to us she is still on her break and needs it as she’s diabetic and doesn’t have enough breaks in the day, making us feel awkward like we couldn’t be served. We ordered and sat down on the table to eat when she stormed out and rang someone on the phone, talking badly about the previous customer which we thought was extremely unprofessional. To top it all off on the last bite of my food I found a short hair merged in to the chocolate and both of us felt ill afterwords. Never again will I return and it’s put me off the brand all together which is a shame as I go quite often.
Suggested solution:
The least they can do is give a sincere apology, acknowledge the man’s review on Google as he was also treated badly.
