Cheltenham Regency Hotel complaint: Wowcher Advising Voucher Redeemed When Hotel Have Not Received Booking or Payment from Wowcher

My complaint:

Booking for Cheltenham Regency Hotel made on 10th July via Wowcher Offer. Contacted Hotel today (13th August, day of travelstay) to and they have no booking for the time booked via Wowcher nor any payment received by redeeming our Voucher payment for £187.

The Hotel have no booking, no spare capacity now and not received payment.

Having liaised with Wowcher ‘customer services’ via WhatsApp – been advised Wowcher for amount has been redeemed by you and booking at hotel made.

This is NOT THE CASE! As ed with hotel by speaking to a human there who has ed ‘no booking’. They have crossed checked this three times as we have followed up to try and resolve.

Therefore: Wowchers’ systems may ‘say’ there is a booking, but THERE IS NOT.

Suggested solution:

1) Wowcher to Call the Hotel (your B2B Customer) and check what we are saying is true.
2) Find out there is NO BOOKING
3) Refund the £187 to us with IMMEDIATE EFFECT.
