My complaint:
I ordered a jewelry hutch in March of 2022. After getting backorder notices every two weeks, I called at about 5 month after I placed the order. I was assured that my order was in the queue and I would be receiving it soon. I questioned the representative deeply on whether they would ever have this piece and I was once again reassured. During this entire time, CB2 is sitting on my $500 deposit. Another 5 months passes and I finally get a notice for delivery and my CC is charged for the remaining ~$500. The delivery company calls and sets up delivery for Sat. On Friday, I receive a call from the delivery company that they have nothing to deliver and I need to call CB2. I call CB2 and spend 20 minutes on the phone and waiting on hold. Only to be told that they will NEVER be able to deliver my furniture. AFTER 10 months, charging me $1000 and scheduling delivery!!! Again, I probe about supply and if they ever really had this item to begin with. I point out that I can’t be the only one who ordered it. They apologize and give me a gift card to their store. What good does the do? Why should I ever shop there again? These companies deceive their customers and make the customer do all the work and then offer some pathetic compensation I don’t even want. I just want my furniture. That is Job One! I’m never able to discern if they ever even had this furniture that they strung me along for for almost a year! In short CB2 is not to be trusted.

They did resolve with a stupid gift card I don't even want because I won't shop there anymore.
