My complaint:
I bought two Academy Gift Cards one for $100.00 and one for $200.00 from the Fairfield, Texas location. The one for $100.00 I bought for my supervisor and when he went to Academy they said it was not loaded and he had the gift receipt too, how embarrassing! He gave this back to me and I first went back to the store where they said I would have to contact the corporate location. I have done this and have yet to receive a call back. Brookshires should not sell any gift cards if they are not going to honor them. The second gift card for $200.00 is for my husband and he hasnt tried to use it yet but I would prefer to just get it refunded along with the $100.00 gift card since Academy is 100 miles away. I spend a lot of money in Brookshires but if this is not taken care of I will not spend another dime there.
Suggested solution:
I will be satisfied when I get a full refund for both gift cards.
