My complaint:
This place should not be called a hotel, but a sty. We booked a quad room for 3 nights from 3-6 August
On checking in on the 3rd Aug, we were given a room, no. 27, which was in the basement. It was filthy, the room had not been cleaned for ages, the carpet was dirty, the bed was tiny, the shower flooded when we took our bath and the basin leaked. The window opened into the street and we felt for our safety. We immediately demanded a change in room, but was told the ‘hotel’ was full. We stayed in early Aug, when the temperature was in excess of 30 degrees C, and we requested a fan, but was told none was available. The room felt like a coffin. I had stayed in many such hotels and there is absolutely nothing to compare with this. This is by far the worst, and it is an injustice and shame to call this a place for people to stay in. This is not a safe place to stay. When I approached the counter to keep my luggage, I was charged £5 per day/luggage.
Anyone looking to book an accommodation in this hotel would be doing themselves a service to avoid this Hotel like the plague. Book at your own risk.
Suggested solution:
Clean the rooms!
