BBRents complaint: rental agency

This company denied our application because while we were separated back in 2001 he was evicted from an apartment, for having rust on his car. Then in 2003 his girlfriend was after my husband had left her got back together with me. Th agency will not let someone explain their past. Especially if it is between 18 -16 years ago. People change in that amount of time. It did not say anything in the description before you fill in the application that if you have had an eviction, even if it was 20 years ago. ( Cause you know There is probably not alot of young 18-20 year olds that dont have one on their record) we will not rent to you. Because we just owned a house for the last 9 years But the the mortgage was to high so we sold it. before that we rented the same townhouse for 9 years. we have the same address history.
