The route to American Heroes Channel runs through the network's own site at ahctv.com, which now points viewers to the Discovery streaming help pages for app sign in and TV provider authentication. Anything about the package itself, the channel number, the price or the tier the channel sits in belongs with the provider you watch through, because the network does not sell you the subscription. Have the provider name, the package, the channel number, the date and the local time ready before you write.

Billed for a package that no longer carries the channel you signed up for? Start your complaint here and we push it out by email, social media and printed letters.

American Heroes Channel moving out of your package is usually a carriage or tier change by the provider rather than the channel going off air. Check the notice your provider sent about line up changes, then compare the package you agreed to at sign up with the channel list you have now. Keep the billing statements either side of the change, because a package that costs the same while carrying less is the part worth putting in writing. Your contract is with the provider, so any credit or exit right sits there.

Billed the same for a line up that lost channels? Take it through our complaint process, and the next subscriber checking what happened when a tier changed can find your case and see what was billed and what was dropped.

American Heroes Channel is carried in live TV streaming packages as well as on cable and satellite, so the practical step is to check the current channel list of a package before you subscribe rather than after. Line ups change, and the channel is not always in the entry tier. On demand viewing through the Discovery apps needs a TV provider sign in, so it is not a way around a subscription. If a package was advertised as carrying the channel and does not, keep the advert or the sign up page: a screenshot of what you were sold is the strongest document you can hold.

Schedules for American Heroes Channel come from the listings data your provider loads, and late programming changes are the usual reason a recording catches the wrong thing. Note the date, the local time, the channel number and the title you expected against the title that aired. Screenshot the listing before the recording and the recording itself afterwards. Note your region as well, since feeds differ, and log captions or audio faults the same way with the length of the fault.

Nothing has been reported about American Heroes Channel here yet. Our research shows what typically goes wrong at specialist documentary networks distributed inside other people's packages: the channel dropped from a package or moved to a costlier tier, programming replaced by repeats and long infomercial blocks, listings that do not match the broadcast so recordings fail, streaming apps refusing a TV provider login, regional feeds that are unavailable, and captions or audio faults during broadcasts.
