My complaint:
I bought the first class ticket with Alaska airlines from San Diego to Oahu. When I received my suitcase, it only had three wheels, and the case was cracked. They failed to put a priority tag on my bag. I filled out all the paperwork at the airport and showed pictures of the damage.
A month later I got an email from Alaska airlines saying that unless I have a receipt for my suitcase purchase, they cannot compensate me. They offered me a $100 credit towards a future flight. Zero compensation for a Rimowa bag worth over $1000. They treat you like a criminal! Avoid this airline at all costs!
Suggested solution:
Pay for the damage they caused on my suitcase!
