My complaint:
On July 6 and 7 Ellen Fanning was presenting. Nearly every third word was mispronounced. She seems totally anaware of how deplorable she is. It’s gone on too long. She doesn’t seem to pronounce ‘t’s and doesn’t manage the panel at all well.
She is nowhere as good as Jermy Ferandez (Malaysian), Cathrine Robinson or Julia Baird.
My students in Singapore spoke better English than Ellen. Aslo Nathan and some of the sports broadcasters. ABC need to project a better image.
Suggested solution:
Ensure she gets some good coaching on pronounciation and management.
Use others until she comes up to scratch.
