My complaint:

Myself and friends was at your restaurant on Friday 6th September celebrating a friends 40th birthday.
We had a very bad experience, which left us going home highly upset and angry, a piece of burnt plastic was in my food which you can see in the attachment picture.
The manager was very rude about the situation and made us feel very embarrassed, he did not want to take any responsibility for this being in my food.
And was arguing back and forth in front of other customers which I was trying to avoid people hearing the situation.
He eventually said we don’t have to pay, then we got up to leave without doing my friends birthday cake which was in the kitchen.
Our plates were still full as it was found in the second mouth full, we hadn’t eaten and was going to go somewhere else to eat.
But when leaving he asked security not to let us go? We was very confused at this point as he said due to the bad experience we never had to pay.
But then said we have to pay half the bill? It caused such a commotion as we was well in our rights not to pay as we were so un happy and treated very badly.
I felt very bad for the other customer trying to enjoy there experience, but couldn’t help over hearing what was going on and then asking if we were okay?
We never wanted to cause a fuss and wanted to deal with this situation quietly, at this point we decided to pay and leave.
We never ended up eating this night, or done my friends cake. We all went home upset and no longer in the mood to celebrate my friends 40th birthday, which we was all looking forward to celebrating.

I hope you can take this email and reduce the risk of it happening again to another customer, sorry to email with such a complaint but I feel its best to let you know.

Suggested solution:

I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant and it was ruined on this night, I would like to go back with a better experience.
