My complaint:

Unfortunately I have had to deal in the past with Home Delivery Service (HDL) and/or YODEL due to my deals with Virgin that unfortunately and inexplicably (I guess low price) use this dubious company as their parcel delivery service.
I was told I would receive my new Virgin mobile the next day, and as I was at work, the Yodel driver left a card in my mailbox. When I went to the website MyYodel, the option of pick up myself from the depot wasn’t available (opposite with what it said in the note). I rearranged a re delivery for the next day (that option was available) and nothing happened the next day. I tried to call the telephone number in the original delivery notice (inexplicably, they dont give a phone number in their webpage), and the recording said “welcome to Yodel, the new name for HDL”. When I finally talked to an adviser, she said to me that my tracking number was not recognised and that was because the company was not the same (Yodel different company than HDL!!!). Then gave me a number to call, and it was a false number because it didnt work. Then I looked in the internet for a telephone number for Yodel and called it. They told me that my tracking number in the delivery slip didn’t appear in their systems (????) and that I had to call Virgin. I am trying to call virgin now and I have been more than 10 mins on hold. Plenty of time to write this complaint! I can not believe companies with such appalling customer service are allowed to trade

Provide better details of tracking and be able to call Yodel with a complaint
