My complaint:
I tried to rent 32386 S 599 Court in Grove Oklahoma 74344. When I ask the water district *** Sharma told me the water came from a well. I then ask if the well is up to date with Oklahoma water standards and the last time it had been tested due to the amount of septic tanks in the area. I was told it had never been tested or checked. *** Sharma became abusive and said he would have it checked but would add $30.00 a month to my lease to maintain any improvements and put in my contract that the water is non potable. This well he explained to me has been used for years to supply water to his rental houses but has never be tested or certified with the Oklahoma Water Treatment guidelines.
Suggested solution:
I chose not to rent from *** Sharma but wondered if the well is contaminated and how many people had drank from an untested well. I have a auto immune disease and water is the first issue I ask about. Do to the higher aged population that lives in this area I did not feel it right to let this slide and Mr. Sharma should have his well tested and brought up to Oklahoma Public Water standards at his cost and not the cost of his tenants as he tried to do with me.
