My complaint:

i had received a direct deposit from my employer and Paypal told me they needed further info that they wanted a copy of my ID which I sent in an next thing I know my account is being froze and they are holding my money for 180days they state that they hold the money for this due to make sure the buyer or seller don’t open a dispute so they hold the funds for 180 days which I understand that but since I’m not a seller or buyer I don’t see how this apply to me my funds were a direct deposit my money wasn’t from me selling something or from someone buying something from me so how can they hold my funds from my employer I worked for that money was nothing fraudulent about that transaction

Suggested solution:

I feel as if its a direct deposit from someones job they should allow them to have access to it. I understand about the buyer and seller agreement situation but I am not a buy nor am I a seller I used paypal for direct deposit due to me not having a bank account I think they should unfreez my account and let me transfer my funds to my account an then close my account out
