My complaint:
I have been with Century Debt Relief , for 24 months and I have been paying on three different creditors, at $ 284.00, but the last two were $ 384.00. I have made a refinance loan on my house through the VA. i was told to get he pay off from Century, and was told two different pay offs, by two different representatives of Century. One was three amounts owed ,was $702.00, the next was $ 1,495.00. the last $ 2.600.00. Yet. I have been sending my money in for making settlements for these three creditors. which made me paying over $6,100, into my three creditors through Century. Then when I made them mad because they didn’t want me to close my membership, with them, although the VA, said I had to do this. I closed my loan at my home, on Monday June 10, 2019 and when I seen the amount that was sent for my pay off was outrageous. They made me pay, another $ 7500. into coffers. So I have paid out more to Century than I started owing in the there coffers, that was from the very beginning that should never be allowed. I have paid a total of over $6100.00 plus $7500.00, to equal of $ 13,600.00, that is not fair.
Suggested solution:
They need to subtract from the amount I paid to them of 6100.00 and reduce the amount they said, they would make me pay for the rest of 42 months. I have lost respect for companies that are supposed to help people and turn into ways of stealing from people and continuing to play their twisted games, of using taking ones money.
I hope other people will look even closer at some of these so called, debt relief companies, that operate so freely in American and take people down the drain. The poorer people, have the lack of money to persue these legal outlaws and they are used and abused by them.
