My complaint:
The issue that I have experienced was: We booked tickets for Friday 17th of July and Friday 31st of July 2020. (CRL – ALC with Ryanair)
Due to the Covid crisis we cancelled our flights via the website before the 17th. Due to the load on the system we only received conformation for the cancellation 27th of July. In the meanwhile contact by telephone was impossible. We cancelled digitally via Opodo app or website multiple times before the 17th.
We booked an insurance cancellation for any reasons via Opodo. Almost 2 years later the situation is that we are still waiting for our refund.
Suggested solution:
it takes forever to get a refund. Multiple contacts with Opodo by telephone or chat system. Some story for almost 2 years.
Waiting for cancellation: is waiting for airline company to accept or agree.
I would like to receive the amount of money back from the tickets I purchased based on the 'cancellation for any reason' Insurance.
