My complaint:
I obtained a loan from Compass Bank in the amount of $9,999.00 sometime in August September 2018.Just before my first payment, I applied and was approved a Balance Transfer from DISCOVER, as follows:
Payment Amount: $8,730.00
This Balance Transfer was intended to partially pay-up my Compass Bank Loan Number XXXXXX, yet it failed to meet its purpose, up to the point that my loan was paid in full from my own pocket last XXXX. DISCOVER informed me that COMPASS BANK acknowledged receiving the amount of $8,730.00, but that the amount has not been returned to them up to this writing. As a result I am now being demanded to pay $8,991.90 by DISCOVER for an amount that failed to meet its purpose. I have already made my first payment of $180.00 to DISCOVER last 3022019.
Suggested solution:
COMPASS BANK should return the amount of $8,730.00 to DISCOVER to save me from paying an amount which did not serve its purpose, which is supposed to partially pay-up my COMPASS BANK loan. I should be refunded in full any amount I have paid DISCOVER.
