My complaint:
Due to a severe illness of my granddaughter brought me to motel 6 on April 22nd unfortunately my granddaughter passed away on May 6th.
I had checked into motel 6 on April 22nd and I am still currently in the motel for at least another week until I return home.
My roommate changes every day starting with $55 and going up to $75
I was told the first week I was here that unfortunately they had no maids in their employee even though they have hired housekeeping since that time I am still having to obtain my own towels sheet toilet paper trash bags dispose of my own trash place my towels and sheets outside the door make my own beds sweep and mop my own floors
The worst part I have not been able to lock my door everyday I have asked for someone to please fix my door every day I am told we will get it done as of yet my door still does not lock.
What a joke, upon paying my room rent six days ago, I was told I had a DNR the housekeeper had noted it it took her 3 hours to clean up my garbage and that there was damage to my room I didn’t know whether to laugh or get angry as I explained to the front desk I’ve never checked out I’ve never had housekeeping so how is this even possible, at which point the park totally agreed with me stating she would have it removed as of yet this statement is still on my account which means if I ever have to go to a different motel 6 I will not be allowed to rent that is absolutely crazy.
The last two days I have emailed motel 6 with no return email, unfortunately I have two pets with me the cost to move to another motel would not be to my benefit financially, I believe I am due some form of compensation if not a free room stay I have been polite patient understanding but at this point I am losing all three.
Suggested solution:
I believe I am due some form of compensation whether it be a discount on my room rate or a free room.
