My complaint:

My truck broke down Wednesday night on I-80 exit 93. Nothing for miles. Called around trying to arrange repairs, found a shop, Friday afternoon appt. Called AAA for tow, driver arrived and refused tow for vehicle mods. Tires an inch taller, and steer wheel removes to allow me entry exit room. Used up my water Friday dealing with them. Still at exit 93 spent all day Sunday trying to get Lyft to come 10 miles and pick me up, go shopping in Lovelock, get a decent meal, then I would need a ride back. No luck. I offered to pay the round trip so driver would not have to drive unpaid, still they refuse, chatted with them several tines, different excuse each time, til I tried to order a car in town to come here and back, they cancelled my request. I understand it is an unusual situation, but I was open to any hour day or night, $100 fare for two round trips. I mouth and throat bone dry, lips cracked, unable to swallow 14 pills a day. I have terminal heart disease, no chance of walking 10 miles.

Suggested solution:

They said it was too far to send a car empty (well, that was 3rd excuse I believe). I was willing, very willing to pay the fare from town here and back, $53. Get a meal, buy water, and pay another $53 to get back. So $106 fare, $40 tip, for 2 gallons of water. Now I wasted the whole day because they stuck with its too busy. Try later til 6pm.
How could they have solved it? Take my request for a ride and let the drivers decide if they would do it.
But they chose to keep pushing me back instead of being honest.
