My complaint:
We moved into our new homes late in June ,2022. The GE dryer broke down just a week after we moved in. It took almost 2 months for us to get a working dryer after running back and forth with GE. Then after that episode in November, 2022 the GE refrigerator broke down. And it was not fixed until until January 2023 We have a kid at home, and managed the holiday season mostly without the refrigerator. Then we were forced to buy a secondary refrigerator that could be delivered within a couple of days. . Our calls with GE went on most days for an hour, sometimes twice in a day.
Later, the GE washing machine broke down as well and they fixed it under warranty repair in a couple of weeks. Three new GE units breaking down within six months is too much to ignore. We had to spend.a lot whether it was laundry outside, buying a new refrigerator, making sure to take time off work when the GE tech came to assess or repair
We now asking GE to extend the warranty on these electronics for additional 2 years and reimburse the secondary refrigerator cost. Please note we were unable to return the secondary refrigerator to Best Buy as GE had not fixed the primary refrigerator within the return window. They sent $150 compensation with a 6 month warranty extension. After pressing for reimbursement charges for the secondary refrigerator they offered another $350 for a $900 invoice. We didnt accept this as it didnt compensate for the trouble we paid for.
Now please help us with our ask:
1. Reimbursement for the secondary refrigerator invoice in full
2. Extension on all 3 GE electronics mentioned above for additional 2 years
