I had over 900,000 thousand points, I practically lived at the Radisson in New Rochelle NY. Every week Mon-Thursday for years, my company relocated me so I wasn’t sure when I would return. I was saving my points for a trip. Didn’t realize they were going to expire. I went to book a trip a saw I had no points. The company pretty much just said I am welcome to still earn points but that I didn’t use in 24 months and their policy is for the points to expire. I’m so angry and disappointed with Radisson, I was a loyal customer, I could have stayed anywhere but chosed Radisson. I felt like the staff were like family and did visit on occasion for dinner or just a drink and say hello. I actually did spend a night in October the same year my points expired but they don’t care. I didn’t use my account in the 24 month period. It just upsets me that they had nothing else to say but a generic response that is on their policy. Most people stay at a hotel a few times a year, and I understand that having to keep an active account. BUT for over 4 years I spent 4-5 nights a week living in a Radisson Hotel and they don’t even consider that. As soon as the 24 month time was up they dissolve my points. I know it’s my own fault that the time passed before I realized it. But I would have thought the company would at least acknowledge my loyalty. I could have donated those points! So what happens when points expire? The company just keeps them .
I wish they would refund some of the points, as I was a longstanding loyal customer. I spent over 4 years 4-5 nights every week staying at their hotel. I feel where is their loyalty to their customers
