My complaint:

A few months ago, I purchased a washing machine. The time of delivery was quite varied, so I decided it would be easier to cancel the purchase and buy and collect a washing machine. I paid for the washing machine by starting up an Argos card.

After numerous phone calls to an 0845 number, I still kept receiving invoices for a washing machine I never received. My last phone call was to explain this. I then received a letter to say there was no record of me cancelling my purchase, therefore if I would like a refund please could I call. (I have never received a washing machine from Argos)

They’re great at selling, not so great at customer service
