Complaint: Broken rear storm door

My complaint:

when company was installing rear living room window, they broke my storm door. It was opened by button at bottom of door because of having a dog door installed in inside door. They never asked about how to close the storm door. The door had been closed for a least a day and my dog could not get outside to use the bathroom. The installer never mentioned anything about the door. The piece that holds the door open was laying on the patio (not even close to the door). I happen to find it in the leaves when I stepped on it. When I called the company to ask about it they denied it. No one ever goes into my back yard. The installer has been the only person back there. He said he didn’t break the door. I know he did. It was open when he arrived and closed when he left.

I want them to buy me a new door or have the other one repaired correctly.
