My complaint:

Hello I’m Bobbi Coleman I decided to change my Primary Care Provider with Medicaid due to the location was in my area, closer to where I live. So I booked an appointment with Dr. Albert Lie at the Moss Memorial Health Clinic in Lake Charles. My appointment was scheduled Monday the 18th of February. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time. I received a call on the week before Friday to my appointment time. I ed and still have the recording on me doing so. When I arrived the technician informed me that she didn’t have me on the schedule. I’m upset because now I’m at Urgent care getting a doctor that is not my primary care doctor to look at my arm bec6of a boating accident. I’ve been in pain for over a month now and was waiting to see Dr. Albert Lie to take a look at it. I’m on Medicaid and don’t have the funds to go to any place else.

Suggested solution:

I would like for the appointment desk to get things together and maybe communicate better with the doctor\'s staff. To inform patients that if they are booked for that day to not arrive on their appointed times to reschedule them. This could of all be resolved if I would of had a heads up that I would of not been seen today. Now I\'m paying for a sitter in which I didnt6have the funds to do so either for something that could of been avoided from the start.
