My complaint:
After numerous contact with office of Tennessee, I explained that I had submitted payment in form of a check for a 6 month period of 9-15-2017. I was charged a late fee for the month of Sept. 2017. I received a letter a few months ago stating that I owed $300 and there was a lien on the property for late fees that had accumulated since 2017. As of 10-19-2019 they have dropped fees to $90 , which I feel is still in error. I always have paid my bills on time and ahead of time.
Suggested solution:
I would like the late charges removed as they had indicated would happen only to have decreased the amount. Also would like a written statement that lien is removed aling with $90 charges.
