My complaint:
I had an unauthorized transaction resulting in a withdrawal of $1000 from a Bank of America ATM. So I contacted support on the app and someone by the name of Seth responded telling me to contact the bank regarding this issues. When I called the bank the rep told me I needed to contact cashapp because I didn’t have an actual BoA account there was nothing they can do. So I sent Seth another email only to get a response from someone else who had taken over the case. I asked what I needed to do to get the money that was taken out back into my account. I got a response from yet another rep that had taken over the case. I probably received like 5 emails from 3 different people at cashap support literally telling me the same thing as if they just copied and pasted the previous response. It’s been about a week now and nothing has happened and they just stopped responding altogether. CashApp support is a joke.
Suggested solution:
They should refund the $1000 and work on improving their support team.
