My complaint:
I signed a lease with Pangea for a 2 bedroom apartment with my wife for our family the first location was for 8057 Dobson st Chicago,IL first floor 2 bedroom I viewed the apartment liked what I saw so agreed to go along with the steps was approved went along with the lease signing came into a error with their system now see my wife lives in NYC so I’m order up secure the apt we had to book a last minute expensive flight all for 10 minutes later to get a phone call about a random inspection apartment won’t be available til January possibly February I was told mind you l was looking to move ASAP I was extremely upset a couple weeks later we decided to give another shot we were approved for an apartment in calumet park ,IL went through the proper steps signed a lease online on oct 22nd with the move in date nov 1st less than 24 hrs approximately 3:45pm oct 31st we were called about another mysterious inspection with no management to speak too no accommodation we were told that both parties had to be here to pick up the keys so we booked another flight which a waste of money and nowhere to live I have a disabled step son this cannot be happening ! We wasn’t offered anything but sorry ! They say the inspection is coming from the city of calumet park and they said they had no idea about this situation which I find that to be odd when they rent out those apartments left and right
Suggested solution:
I demand proof of both situations for both apartments I would like a refund for my move in fee reimbursement for hotel fees airline fees and pain and suffering! Now I can’t have my family for the holidays and we’re homeless that’s what I want
