My complaint:

I added $300.00 to pay someone (Lucy Tasker) after finding out she didn’t have access to her email account and didn’t have a US phone.
The withdraw from my bank. I canceled that same day. The money was not returned to my bank. I have asked for the electronic transfer but have not received it. Today they wrote and said they (Cash app) closed the dispute. My bank had started the dispute so I am not sure how the dispute was closed.

9Cash App offers standard deposits to your bank account and Instant Deposits to your linked debit card.

Standard deposits are free and arrive within 1-3 business days.

Instant Deposits are subject to a 1.5% fee (with a minimum fee of $0.25) but arrive to your debit card instantly.

I am having the same problem,  $300.00 I was sending to someone and she did not want it to go email so I canceled, Nik at cash app said it had gone back to my back electronic deposit, well no the bank has no record of it cash app says the only info they have is amount, day time, last 4 of my debit card and my cashapp not a EFT OR ACH TRACKING inam a 70 year old widow on SS. I dont know what to do my bank is involved with a dispute in the mean time I have $5. It is so sad this world is becoming so corrupt and people are taking advantage of good people, so self centered and money hungry. So many suffering then on top of that this stress. I pray that we can love each other, and have peace. Have a blessed day.

Thanks for your response.

I’ve ed that your Cash App payment attempt was successfully cancelled. When a payment is cancelled, the funds will be returned to your bank statement in one of two ways:

The payment may void and you will see the funds drop off your bank statement. Meaning, you will not see a debit on your bank statement
The funds will post as a refund and you will see a credit back on your account in 2-5 business days
Please provide the information listed below to your bank’s branch manager, and have them check with their debit card operations department. It’s important to explain that the funds will appear as an electronic funds transfer (EFT), which is a direct credit to your bank account.

If you are unable to work this out with your bank, I hate to inform this that I do not have any new information to provide regarding this issue. Please review the information in our previous emails to understand how to move forward.

3 years ago - They say work it out with my bank and they are working on it h as been almost 2 months if you used Electronic transfer to my debit card almost 2 months ago dont you think you need to check the conformation tracking number or check that the transfer did go somewhere just not to me, there has to be a way to track any wire transfer. Find the money $300.00 is half of my monthly income I am 70 years old by myself on social security so help.
